ControlFreak MCP is an MCP server. It lets an AI assistant, such as Claude, read the map and place controls and courses directly in an open ControlFreak tab, while you watch and can make changes yourself. It works with assistants that can connect their own MCP servers.

How to connect your AI assistant

  1. In the AI assistant: add a custom MCP server (in Claude it is called a connector) with the address https://mcp.controlfreak.se/mcp and sign in with your account.
  2. Open ControlFreak with the connection turned on, open a map and press Connect AI assistant. Sign in with the same account.
  3. Ask the assistant to set a course, for example "Set a 3 km course with 10 controls".

Only invited users have an account. You cannot sign up yourself.
